Assistant Sales Manager - Controls

Role Responsibilities :

1. Generating inquiries through market visits to contractors, consultants, end users, and FM companies.
2. Creating Controls / BMS sales opportunities by meeting customers.
3. Forecasting and achieving sales and bookings for the month.
4. Following up on quotation status with customers, understanding their requirements, and coordinating with application engineers to fulfill customer needs.
5. Obtaining factory/supplier prices by completing formalities and required documents.
6. Reviewing standard sales contracts and reaching agreements with customers (payment, LC, warranty, etc.).
7. Reviewing and transitioning sales orders with costing to the Controls Operations Team in coordination with Finance for sales order approval.
8. Following payment terms guidelines and conditions as instructed by the Finance Department and assisting in collections.
9. Participating in weekly/monthly meetings for sales review, aging, and collection.
10. Reviewing and approving the costing sheet and quotation according to the approval matrix.
11. Reviewing monthly online backlog reports.
12. Ensuring customers are periodically updated on the latest software, catalogs, and information from Carrier wherever applicable.
13. Creating quotations in line with the specifications.
14. Performing technical submittals and clarifications with order finalization in coordination with the Business Manager.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
2. 7-8 years of relevant experience in the same or similar industry in UAE.
3. Thorough knowledge of the market and HVAC Controls / BMS products / Chiller Plant Manager.
4. Understanding of Total Quality Management and ISO processes & procedures.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Team player with excellent negotiation and computer skills.
7. Proficiency in English; Arabic will be an added advantage.
