Assistant Restaurant Manager - Sirene By Gaia

Fundamental Hospitality is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager for our new venue - Sirene by Gaia. This position will be based in Dubai.

Position Overview:

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the restaurant and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff and maintain high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in the hiring, training, and supervision of restaurant staff.
2. Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
3. Monitoring and improving guest satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
4. Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
5. Assisting in creating staff schedules and ensuring proper staffing levels during peak hours.
6. Conducting regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with sanitation standards.
7. Supporting the Restaurant Manager in strategic planning, goal setting, and achieving financial targets.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills.
3. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
4. Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
6. Proficiency in computer applications and restaurant management software.
7. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
8. Certification in food safety and management is a plus.
