Assistant Project Manager

Commercial (Healthcare, Education, Offices, Retail, Restaurants) and Multifamily Construction. Projects between 5M / +100M.

Responsibilities

1. Support the SR PM's / PX / VP in managing contracts, costs, schedules, safety, and quality throughout all phases of the construction process.
2. Accountable for maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, building trust and value throughout the construction process.

1. Cost Controlling / Preconstruction
2. Process Improvement
3. Scheduling
4. RFI / Change Management

Qualifications

1. B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and/or related construction experience.
2. 3-10 years or more years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor in Commercial, Retail, Multifamily, Mixed Use, Educational, Healthcare, ground up / renovations.
3. Ability to read construction drawings, coordination, and familiarity with the South Florida area subcontractor and vendor market.
4. Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills are crucial to the success of the role.
5. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software is important.
