This is an opportunity to work on a large mixed-use residential development in the UAE.

• Support the projects to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with all relevant parties to understand and deliver project objectives set out in the project plans.
• Conduct research, analysis, record-keeping and other supporting activities to ensure timely and accurate information to contribute to delivery of project management operations.
• Develop direct and/or indirect management of external parties (consultants and contractors) coordinating others, in order to achieve project key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage small parts of projects independently, but with oversight from a PM/SPM.
• Work with the project team to assist in the delivery of the project objectives in line with the project plan.
• Actively engage in relevant business and statutory health, safety and wellbeing standards and activities at all stages of the project.
• Collaborate with relevant parties/stakeholders and ensure robust quality systems are suitably managed and monitored in line with service excellence.
• Attend and record relevant meetings, providing relevant parties with contextual information and analysis, including regular site walks.
• Partner with relevant stakeholders and be actively involved in risk management and mitigation treatments.
• Assist in tracking project changes and ensuring they are processed and formalised within the agreed timeframes.
• Assist in providing handover documentation prior to practical completion.
• Understand the businesses priorities through construction to production, digital & data and responsible business.
• Collect information or undertake research as required.
• Update and manage existing project plans, processes and procedures to contribute to the successful delivery of projects under direction.
• Actively seek understanding and utilise the centre of excellence (CoE) knowledge base, the Mace Way control centre, the knowledge hub and company best practice sign posting.
• Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

• Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
• Developing knowledge and experience in project management, managing small sized projects/elements of larger projects.
• Developing knowledge of construction and industry and understanding of programme, scheduling, procurement and reporting.
• Developing budgetary oversight expertise and knowledge.
• Developing understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
• Developing communication, presentation and project planning and development skills (using appropriate tools).
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Seek opportunities for learning and implementing improved working practices and service differentiation.

You’ll also have:

• Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
• Experience in project management, ideally in a property or infrastructure sector.
• A developing knowledge of commercial and financial considerations.
• Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
