Roles and Responsibilities
The Associate Project Engineer is a key role directly reporting to the Senior Project Manager for Install Business. You will be based in Abu Dhabi and will be a part of a growing team, responsible for driving the growth of business for Building Technology and Solutions, focusing on Energy Solutions in GCC. You will support the project management team in designing and executing projects.
As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with the pre-sales/estimation for energy solutions.
How You Will Do It
You will be responsible for validating assumptions made during solution design, building energy savings estimates, cost estimates, and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations. You will also provide technical risk analysis for the complete solution.
You will participate in transition meetings with the Operations team to ensure project scope, objectives, timeline, and customer requirements are properly managed. As a Project Development Engineer, you may need to perform on-site data collection at customer facilities and support post-contract design reviews.
You will also focus on developing multiple components for the bundled sale of energy solutions and will use strong customer relationship skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and vendors).

- Required
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or similar.
- 0-1 year experience / Intern experience in a similar background.
- Result-oriented, tenacious, self-motivated, with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in business analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - must be able to adapt working style to the personalities and work styles of our stakeholders and internal partners.
- Fluency in English language is essential.
