Job Description: The University of Kalba is seeking to appoint a faculty member for teaching Tour Guiding in the College of Arts, Sciences, Information Technology, and Communications / History and Islamic Civilization Program.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate Tour Guiding courses using innovative, student-centered teaching methodologies.
Demonstrate a scientific research list showing publications in prestigious international journals after obtaining the last academic qualification.
Possess professional experience in teaching in the field of specialization.
Exhibit a commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with developments in the relevant field.
Utilize thorough knowledge of teaching best practices.
Have a solid background in education technology and teaching platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Tour Guiding from a reputable university.
A strong publication record, with the capability to contribute to high-reputable academic publications.
Participation in relevant regional and international conferences.
Keen interest in participating in joint scientific research with colleagues or in research groups inside and outside the university.
Sustain active participation in relevant professional organizations.
Plan, prepare and deliver courses, schemes of work, and individual lessons, appropriate to the needs, interests, and existing knowledge of students.
Contribute to curricular design and assist in the development of syllabi, resources, schemes of work, marking policies, and teaching strategies in the department.
Undertake formative and summative assessments to ensure progress and implement interventions where required.
Mentor and advise students at all levels.
Use digital technologies to ensure an interactive learning environment.
Apply effective learning practices.
Engage in professional activities and community service.
A minimum of one year of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor.
