The project:
Mace is providing project management services on a large mixed-use regeneration development in Abu Dhabi. The site will have commercial workplaces and retail units along with public realm.

- You will ensure quality systems are suitably managed in line with service excellence.
- You will deliver and manage project plans from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
- You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of senior project managers and other leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

- Generating project reports including developing various report formats, development of a Power BI dashboard, presentations and distributes to project stakeholders.
- Coordinating with project team and to updating project documents (project execution, quality, procurement plan and risk register).
- Coordinating project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
- Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.
- Reviewing consultant/contractor reports and provide constructive comments for improvement and enhance the report quality and presentation.
- Supporting client leaders with information needed to update the business partners.
- Responsible for managing the project reporting requirements, achieve project objectives and escalate issues to project leadership as necessary.
- Knowledge of standard to complex project documents, including but not limited to - agreements/contracts, weekly reports and monthly reports.
- Ability to perform project controls tasks and to meet the project deliverables as required.
- Assisting planning manager on monitoring tasks not limited to data analysis, what if scenarios, identify bottle necks, critical items, claim avoidance strategy and assist follow-up with stakeholders.
- Assisting the planning manager in the preparation of procurement strategies and the finalization of master strategic programme.
- Responsible for maintaining the strategic master programme (SMP) to support report generations.
- Assisting planning manager in initiating correspondence to the client, lead designer, engineers, main/subcontractors with regards to the rate of progress, delay notices, early warnings, variations, claims, resources, look ahead, recovery plans and reports etc.
- Assisting the planning and commercial manager to develop the claims & change control process, assist with contractual correspondence for the project and to support in evaluating contractor’ variations, IPCs and claims.

You’ll need to have:
Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
You’ll also need:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, computer science or a related field experience.
- Planning and reporting experience.
- Experience of working on complex construction projects.
- Site and functional experience.
- Working knowledge of project controls tools, techniques and software (e.g. MS office and Power BI, Aconex, Primavera P6 and PowerPoint Timeline).
- Effective communication and engagement skills.
- Creating and delivering persuasive and engaging presentations to client/s.
- General awareness and some practical knowledge and application of data analytics, Power BI and other reporting suite tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of projects and program management.
- Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret the project documents.
- Ability to understand effectively to the most sensitive issues.
- Ability to writing reports, manuals, procedures and articles using distinctive style.
- Ability to prepare effective presentation on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public.
- Awareness of project drivers within the programme.
- Competent at reviewing productivity & capturing productivity to update project progress.
- Manage basic contract programmes.
