Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing & Management:

Oversee and ensure timely processing of payroll for employees.

Maintain payroll records, including attendance, leave balances, and overtime calculations.

Verify accuracy of salary payments, deductions, benefits, and reimbursements.

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, labor laws, and company policies.

Process salary revisions, bonuses, incentives, and other pay-related adjustments.

Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure adherence to all government regulations related to payroll processing.

Handle audits and inspections related to payroll and employee compensation.

Generate payroll-related reports for management and finance teams.

Employee Support & Coordination:

Address employee payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.

Coordinate with HR for new hires, exits, and salary structure updates.

Work with finance to reconcile payroll expenses and disburse payments.

Assist in implementation of payroll software and automation initiatives.

System & Process Improvement:

Review and improve payroll processes for better efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure payroll systems are updated with latest regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with HRIS or IT teams for payroll software enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

6 -10 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of payroll software (Oracle Fusion) and HRIS systems.

Familiarity with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.

Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll processing tools.

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Experience in handling payroll for a large workforce.

Knowledge of global payroll (for multinational companies).
