About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager – Medical Insurance to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the insurance brokerage sector with deep expertise in medical insurance products and regulations in the UAE. Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the medical insurance portfolio, covering individual medical, SMEs, and large corporate clients.
2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the medical insurance offering and increase market share.
3. Lead the management of new business acquisition and renewal retention to achieve sales targets and client satisfaction.
4. Handle claims management and work closely with insurance providers to ensure quick and effective resolutions.
5. Manage the end-to-end customer experience, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and responsive customer service.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers and negotiate competitive terms for clients.
7. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities and improve the product offering.
8. Lead and mentor a team of medical insurance advisors, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluation.
9. Ensure compliance with UAE insurance regulations and company policies.
10. Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.

Areas of Expertise:

1. Individual medical insurance – advisory, policy structuring, and customer engagement.
2. SMEs and large corporates – building tailored solutions and managing corporate accounts.
3. Claims management – handling complex cases and ensuring efficient resolution.
4. New business development – identifying opportunities and closing sales.
5. Renewal and retention – increasing policy retention rates and upselling opportunities.
6. Customer service – enhancing client experience and resolving customer queries professionally.
7. Customer satisfaction – ensuring high Net Promoter Score (NPS) and positive client feedback.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical insurance within the UAE insurance brokerage sector.
3. Strong knowledge of UAE medical insurance products, regulations, and underwriting processes.
4. Proven track record in client management, sales, and retention in medical insurance.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
6. Proficiency in handling customer queries and resolving conflicts professionally.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
8. Professional certifications in insurance (preferred).
9. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
