You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations. The Assistant Manager - Guest Service is responsible for assisting the Front Desk Manager in managing the guest service department as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Concierge operation and administration. You will also be responsible for engaging with guests on online portals like Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Google reviews, etc.

Qualifications

  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Prior experience in hospitality of at least 2 years, with supervisor responsibilities and Opera knowledge.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least 2 years progressive management experience within the Rooms Division of a hotel.
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree is an asset.
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and ability to provide exceptional customer service while improving the bottom line.
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
