Job Title: Workshop Supervisor

Job Description:

1. Provide immediate leadership, guidance and supervision for all assigned A-Workshop employees as specified by the Manager-Workshop.
2. Plan and oversee specific maintenance activities within the Workshop as defined by the Manager.
3. Ensure that all maintenance inspections, servicing, rebuilds, overhauls and repairs are accomplished in accordance with all technical manuals, KPIs and OEM specifications.
4. Assist in the development, implementation, revision and enforcement of all maintenance directives.
5. Assist in the development, implementation, revision and enforcement of all quality directives as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
6. Direct oversight of all final inspections performed at the conclusion of maintenance to ensure a quality vehicle, assembly or subassembly is provided to the customer.
7. Review, prioritise and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) in accordance with SAP PM orders.
8. Review, approve and/or reject all Waiting Manager Approval maintenance orders within SAP.
9. Change the status from Awaiting Spares to In-Progress Awaiting Spares in SAP when applicable.
10. Approve or reject all additional maintenance tasks within SAP.
11. Monitor and update all daily and weekly reports within SAP.
12. Oversee the storage and disposal of all hazardous materials in accordance with all environmental directives and host country regulations.
13. Ensure compliance with all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.
14. Ensure all issued tools, test equipment and high-value property is maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried and safeguarded.
15. Ensure that all Vehicle spare parts research is performed and that only required spare parts are requisitioned in the appropriate quantities.
16. Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance related documentation is completed in accordance with all maintenance directives.
17. Ensure that all residual spare parts are returned to the Main Store in a timely manner.
18. Ensure that all unserviceable direct exchange assemblies, subassemblies and components are returned to the Repairable Store in a timely manner.
19. Monitor the job performance and training of all staff to ensure the successful and effective accomplishment of all required tasks.
20. Recommend and provide additional training when determined necessary.
21. Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.

Experience and Education:

1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering required, or Equivalent years of Experience in the same field.
2. A minimum of five to six years of experience supervising, managing, and/or directing light and heavy tracked and/or wheeled vehicle maintenance is preferred.

Key Skills:

1. Previous military experience or automotive industry management experience is an advantage.
2. Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and SAP is preferred.
3. The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
4. Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license.
