We have an exciting opportunity for you as an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our enthusiastic pre-opening team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.

As an Assistant Maintenance Manager you are primarily responsible to ensure Guest Satisfaction, energy conservation, fire life safety, operation and maintenance of plants and equipment, preventive maintenance schedules, engineering maintenance requests and new work orders are performed and correctly recorded.

• To ensure each section of the Engineering is managed effectively, maximizing productivity and quality of work.
• To assist Chief Engineer on all aspects of engineering, environmental controls and the operational efficiency of the property.
• To ensure adherence to all statutory regulations and fire codes by regularly reviewing policies and safety procedures.
• Ensure that the effective operation of all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment by implementing and managing a preventative maintenance program.
• Plans and implements a preventive maintenance program to achieve zero defects for all equipment in the hotel.
• Coordinates and assists management of hotel on internal campaign and activities of energy conservation programme.
• Coordinates and participates in the environmental and sustainable programme/activities as prescribed by the environmental committee.

The ideal candidate must be a qualified engineer with 5 years of progressive work-related experience in the same role in a 5-star city hotel in Dubai. Strong capabilities in planning & organizing, detail-oriented, and the ability to work under pressure of deadlines and ever-shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. Must promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations, be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills, and work well independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
