Job Description
How does your working day look like
  1. Responsible for entire housekeeping operations
  2. Ensuring adherence to security and safety procedures by the team
  3. Manage staff/ employee productivity, ensuring all work is performed with optimal manpower as required
  4. Training and mentorship of the Housekeeping Supervisors
  5. Establishing training plans for the department
  6. Attending to staff concerns and addressing needs
  7. Attending to guest concerns and addressing needs
  8. Interacting and liaising closely with counter departments - Front Office, Engineering, F&B, S&M, HR, and Security
  9. Occupancy forecasting and planning the schedule
  10. Conducting Service Provider Assessment for all contracts in place
  11. Attending operation meetings
  12. Conducting briefings with Supervisors
  13. Initiating individual performance appraisals
  14. Quality Management through forensic analysis and investigation of repeated concerns and continuous implementation of service improvement initiatives
  15. Supporting the laundry operations
  16. Organizing guest needs under intimation to EHK/Executive
  17. Managing guest requests, inspecting including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members
  18. Inspection of Public Areas back of house and front of house including car park, pantries, and stores
  19. Spot checking attendants
  20. Executing assigned departmental Key Performance Indicators
  21. Active participation and representation of the department in all hotel-related events
  22. Initiating monthly rewards celebrations
Qualifications
Your personality counts more than your CV
  1. Strong communicative English skills in speaking, reading, and writing
  2. Computer skills for Outlook Emails, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint presentation
  3. Leadership skills - good judgment
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  5. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  6. Proficiency in using housekeeping management software; OPERA knowledge preferred
  7. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards
