Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Front Office Manager to join our prestigious hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring outstanding guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.

  1. Assist the Room Divisions Manager in overseeing daily front desk operations and guest services
  2. Coordinate front desk activities to ensure exceptional customer service and smooth check-in/check-out processes
  3. Collaborate with the Room Divisions Manager in recruiting, training, and evaluating front desk team members
  4. Foster a positive team dynamic that empowers staff to consistently deliver superior guest service
  5. Provide ongoing coaching and support to maintain high operational standards
  6. Supervise reservation management, ensuring all special requests are accommodated
  7. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their stay and proactively address any concerns
  8. Implement and promote the hotel's loyalty program
  9. Work closely with other departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Security to ensure a seamless guest experience
  10. Assist in managing budgets and financial targets for the Front Office department
  11. Stay updated on local events and attractions to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in hospitality
  3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
  6. Strong attention to detail and superior organizational abilities
  7. Proficiency in hotel management software and property management systems
  8. In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
  9. Familiarity with local culture, customs, and attractions in Dubai and the UAE
  10. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
