Responsibilities
Working closely with CMI HK in managing the operations of the finance functions (including processing payments, cash management, handling tax and custom declarations, etc.)
Performing cash management such as cash flow forecasting, fund raising & repatriations (if any) and preparing and reviewing fund transfers through online banking
Executing budget control to ensure all expenses incurred are properly authorized and within budget
Ensuring all connected party transactions carried out by each subsidiary within the MEA region are within budget limits
Responsible for overseeing internal controls (implementing, monitoring, and enhancing SOX requirements) and ensuring compliance
Assisting in managing the operation procedures in accounts payable and receivables and providing support when required
Responsible for preparing all financial-related regulatory filings and compliance
Providing administrative work if required
Any other monthly, quarterly, and yearly finance-related reporting/tasks
Requirements
1. Qualifications
Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree or above
Professional Qualification: CPA
2. Working Experience
5 years or above working experience in finance/audit/cash management related work
Sound knowledge of local/IFRS accounting standards and tax rules
3. Skills & Personal Attributes
Character/Work Attitude: Pleasant personality, hardworking, and able to work under pressure
Soft-skills: Highly accountable, detail-oriented, proactive in meeting deadlines, excellent verbal and communication skills
Language Ability: Excellent written and spoken English AND Mandarin is a must.
Other mandatory requirements: Chinese language proficiency
