Under general supervision, uses CAD and other drafting tools to prepare multi-disciplinary Fitout design drawings to facilitate tendering and contractor works execution. Interprets and clarifies engineers&apos and architects&apos technical notes and instructions, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all data provided and compliance with CAD production, layering, and numbering conventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Design and Shop Drawings: Create new design and shop drawings for all disciplines (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical & ELV) supporting Fitout activities, ensuring service coordination across drawings.
Data Assembly and Site Visits: Obtain and assemble data from various sources to complete architectural, MEP, ELV, etc. drawings. Visit job sites to compile measurements, explain drawings to production or construction teams, and provide adjustments as necessary.
Design Coordination: Coordinate structural, electrical, and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation to graphically represent building plans.
Validate As-Built Drawings: Validate as-built drawings on-site and flag discrepancies to technical subject matter experts for further investigation.
Timely Document Delivery: Liaise with subject matter experts and commit to timescales for document production to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualifications:
Higher Diploma/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Architecture.
3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering design/drafting and CAD.
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and MS Office.
