Job description

As the Assistant Director of Sales, you will be a key architect of our sales strategy, responsible for positioning our luxury hotel apartment as the premier choice for guests in Dubai. You will work with a driven sales team, cultivate relationships with high-end clients, and develop innovative strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue. The Asst Director of Sales must have a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, and will be tasked with setting and executing the sales strategy, managing a sales team, and driving revenue growth. Your expertise in luxury hospitality and your ability to understand the unique needs of our clientele will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals.
  2. Identify new market opportunities and trends.
  3. Establish sales targets and ensure they are met by the sales team.
  4. Lead, motivate, and support a team of sales professionals.
  5. Oversee the sales process and pipeline.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics.
  7. Develop and manage sales budgets.
  8. Ensure systems are used effectively and that data integrity is maintained.
  9. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  10. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  11. Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

  1. Conduct market research to understand competitive landscape and industry trends.
  2. Analyze competitors’ products and services.
  3. Develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  4. Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with senior management to set company-wide objectives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Qualifications: Experience

  1. At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience in the Dubai Market specially in the IMPZ area.
  2. Proven track record of delivering sales results in commercial roles in hotels.
  3. Strong knowledge of the hotel and travel Industry including knowledge of competitor hotels and destinations.

Education

  1. Candidate must hold a degree from a major, accredited institution in the fields of hospitality sales & marketing or business administration.
  2. Excellent command of English.
  3. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
