Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Minimum Certification in Maintenance Engineering or related Technical field / Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management.
  • Minimum 4 – 5 years’ experience as an Engineering Specialist in a Senior Managerial role / similar experience in a 5 star hospitality industry.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Hospitality industry.
  • Advanced project management skills, planning and scheduling skills.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement engineering strategies that support the organization’s overall objectives and growth plans.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment while promoting professional development.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including budgeting and staffing, to meet project demands and organizational needs.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction and support to engineering teams, ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., product management, sales, and operations) to align engineering efforts with business goals and customer needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance engineering efficiency and productivity.
