Unit Purpose

Provides credit administration and operations support to wholesale banking unit, commercial banking unit and wealth management unit (private and priority) by preparing facility and security documents, lodging and safe-keeping executed documents, creation and monitoring of collaterals, limit management, maintaining databases and furnishing of MIS to various stakeholders.

The unit plays a vital role in establishment to prudent risk culture and processes within the bank and ensure quality of risk analysis & monitoring on all credit and risk related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation of facility letters, security, and facility documentation in line with approval terms and conditions.
  • Review of customer executed facility and security documents in line with approval terms and conditions, credit policy and Shariah guidelines.
  • Identify potential risks related to documentation and taking appropriate measures to mitigate such risks.
  • Ensure the issuance of the facility letters in line with approval terms, credit policies and guidelines for C&IB and/or CMB and/or Wealth Management Customers.
  • Prepare/review of security and facility documents in line with approval terms and credit policies and guidelines.
  • Ensuring the facility, security, support documents being properly executed, signatures of the signatories verified and supported by resolution/POA.
  • Review of customer executed facility and security documents in line with approval terms and conditions, credit policy and Shariah guidelines, and follow up with the business units for any required rectification.
  • Carry out any specific or adhoc project or task assigned by line manager or unit head
  • Liaise with RMs and take necessary documents

About YOU

  • Strong technical skills and competency in credit control related functions and thorough knowledge of Islamic banking products – Preferred
  • 1 to 2 years relevant experience - Preferred
  • Good understanding of financial analysis
  • Good knowledge of MS office applications
  • Good Communication skills
  • Analytical skills
