Job Description: Assistant Accounts Manager

Salary: AED 11000

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Operations Management:
   • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
   • Support the Accounts Manager in managing financial processes and systems.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
   • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
3. Reporting:
   • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
   • Support the Accounts Manager in preparing financial summaries for senior management.
4. Tax and Compliance:
   • Ensure compliance with UAE taxation laws including VAT filings and audits.
   • Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
5. Accounts Reconciliation:
   • Oversee bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and ledger management.
   • Monitor accounts payable and receivable for accuracy and efficiency.
6. Team Leadership:
   • Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
   • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the accounting team.
7. Audit Preparation:
   • Assist in coordinating internal and external audits.
   • Provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

Key Requirements:

• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
• Experience: 10 years in accounting or finance roles with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of international accounting standards and UAE financial regulations.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferences:

• Candidates with a stable career progression and demonstrated expertise in financial strategy.
• Prior experience in a mid-to-large organization is an advantage.
