Assistance Accountant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, maintaining meticulous records for financial audits.
• Support the monthly closing process by preparing journal entries and verifying data accuracy to meet tight deadlines.
• Assist in payroll processing by verifying timesheets and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Maintain and update fixed asset registers, ensuring all asset transactions are properly recorded and valued.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial data, providing clear and concise explanations.
• Prepare and file tax returns while staying updated on relevant tax laws and regulations to minimize liabilities.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles, demonstrating practical application of skills.
