Art Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various art forms and techniques, and be able to inspire and guide students of all ages in exploring their creativity.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement art lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
2. Instruct students on various art techniques and mediums, such as drawing, painting, and sculpture.
3. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their artwork.
4. Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment for students to explore their artistic abilities.
5. Organize and maintain art supplies and materials for lessons and projects.
6. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art across different subjects and curriculums.
7. Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records of their work and achievements.
8. Prepare and display student artwork for exhibitions and showcases within the school or community.
9. Stay current on trends and developments in art education to continually enhance teaching practices.
10. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and participation in art activities.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
2. Teaching certification or license in Art Education.
3. Experience working with students in an educational setting.
4. Strong understanding of various art techniques, mediums, and art history.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
