Roles and Responsibilities
- Promote both new and existing exhibitions.
- Create materials for all sales promotions as well as generating ideas that enhance visitor engagement.
- Continuously expand and enhance the exhibition database.
- Reach out to government organizations to explore current and potential markets for exhibitors.
- Identify and develop sponsorship and non-space revenue opportunities.
- Manage a team of successful sales employees as well as monitor and track team sales progress and performance.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 years sales experience in the exhibitions industry.
- You must have extensive knowledge of the exhibition industry for this position.
- You MUST be a UAE National for this position.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the sales team, setting clear goals and expectations while providing ongoing support and motivation.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Coaching and Training: Conduct training sessions and coaching for team members to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with broader company initiatives.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, analyzing historical data to project future performance.
- Problem Solving: Address challenges and obstacles faced by the sales team, providing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
