About your Role
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives. Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to ensure the team meets its objectives. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Territory Management: Define and allocate sales territories to team members. Monitor and evaluate territory performance, making adjustments as necessary. Ensure effective coverage of the assigned area.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers. Understand customer needs and provide solutions that align with the company's products.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the features, benefits, and applications of the medical devices in the portfolio. Train the sales team on product knowledge and positioning.
Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for customers. Assist sales representatives in developing effective presentations.
Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the medical devices industry. Provide feedback to the company on market conditions and competitive intelligence.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the sales budget for the assigned area. Provide accurate sales forecasts and report regularly on progress.
Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all sales activities adhere to relevant industry regulations and compliance standards. Stay informed about changes in regulations and communicate them to the sales team.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align strategies and initiatives. Provide input to product development based on customer feedback and market needs.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely manner. Work with internal teams to resolve any operational or logistical challenges impacting sales.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team. Stay updated on industry trends and new product developments.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
