We’re seeking an Area Manager to join our dynamic Fulfillment Center. Our Fulfillment Centers are at the heart of Amazon’s rapidly growing Operations network: they’re where we manage our fast-moving inventory. They’re also where we developed our industry-leading workflows. Our teams stow deliveries, pick products, package them up and ship them out: each of these groups have played their part in taking us where we are today. The Change Area Manager leads, supports, coordinates and facilitates implementation of new and improved structures, processes and activities, and day to day standard work compliance. Working closely with FC & AMET ops, support, and program managers teams, you report directly to the Country Change Manager.
For this role you will need to be adaptable, challenge motivated and thrive on implementing high standard productivity and simplicity using Kaizen/PDCA methods. Curiosity and the confidence to take calculated risks quickly are core characteristics for Continuous Improvements Managers.
The ability to create and follow data driven arguments to ascertain root cause, then implement Amazon standard or innovate to develop a solve. Agility to react to countermeasures and a bias for action to implement change. Understanding of Kaizen, PDCA and six sigma processes would be advantageous.
