Architecture and Civil Draughtsman

Job Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed architectural and civil drawings, plans, and designs.
2. Prepare accurate and comprehensive drawings for various stages of projects, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards governing architectural and civil construction in the GCC region.
4. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software proficiently to create and modify drawings, incorporating changes as required throughout the design process.
5. Coordinate with project teams to integrate architectural and civil drawings with other disciplines, such as structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
6. Conduct site visits and surveys as needed to gather information and verify dimensions for drafting purposes.
7. Review and analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other documentation to identify potential conflicts or discrepancies.
8. Provide support during the construction phase by producing as-built drawings and responding to requests for information (RFIs) from contractors.
9. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation in accordance with company standards.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in architectural and civil drafting.
