Architectural Draftsman

Education & Qualifications:

• A Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Professional certification or membership (e.g., CAD Technician or similar) is a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience in drafting for civil or architectural shop drawings for high-quality finishes building projects with a Grade A contractor in GCC and must be experienced in closely coordinating with facade, MEP & ID drawings.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software with experience in 3D modeling and BIM. Knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and relevant civil and architectural practices. Ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to identify and solve design or construction challenges as they arise.
• Communication:
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams.
• Ability to understand complex instructions and translate them into clear, detailed drawings.
• Working Conditions:
• Full-time office-based or site-based with occasional travel to construction sites. May require extended hours during project deadlines or critical stages of construction.
