ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSMAN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD based on design specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure seamless execution of designs.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed sections as per project needs.
• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE building codes, authority regulations, and company standards.
• Modify and update drawings based on client feedback and site conditions.
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, and fit-out teams for project coordination.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and material takeoffs for procurement purposes.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions, layouts, and coordination requirements.
• Maintain an organized record of drawings and revisions for project documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project deadlines.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of GCC experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong experience in contracting companies handling architectural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines, including MEP and structural teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
