Architectural Design Manager

Job Overview

Imperium Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Architect Manager to lead and manage architectural design projects. This role requires a strong background in design innovation, team leadership, and project management, ensuring all projects are executed with excellence, adhering to quality standards, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in design development, client relations, and technical oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of architects, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
• Develop and implement design concepts, strategies, and plans that meet client needs and expectations
• Oversee the design process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Review and approve architectural design packages, drawings, and documentation to ensure design intent, accuracy, and technical soundness.
• Conduct regular design reviews and status updates, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
• Identify opportunities for design innovation and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and manage design budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Conduct site visits and provide design support during the construction phase as needed.
• Stay current with design trends, materials, technologies, and regulatory updates relevant to the UAE market.
• Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, zoning laws, sustainability requirements, and other regulatory frameworks.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 15 years of experience.
• Proven track record in leading architectural design for high-end residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and execution ability
• Thorough knowledge of UAE building codes and authority submission procedures
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
