We are currently seeking a highly motivated Architectural Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
The individual will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Tender & IFC information model issued by consultants (2D drawings, BIM models & asset data) as per ISO19650.
- Competing and/or conflicting elements into design deliverables & take necessary actions (RFI, CVI, workshops, etc.).
- The deliverables during the design and construction supervision stages to ensure adherence to the contract documents and established project objectives.
- Assisting the design manager with the establishment of Project Design Management Plan, Project Execution Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, submittal planning and other documents as required.
- Multi-discipline information and ensuring liaison with all parties. Ability to foresee constraints and act.
- Raising RFIs & CVIs and ensuring clarity on the queries raised.
- Managing Subcontractor works and pointing out any technical deviations.
- Ensuring modelers/draughtsmen have the correct information for updating shop drawings. Ensuring document submittals are completed in a timely manner.
- Supporting the Design team in the sub-contractor coordination process.
- Reviewing & following up on DFC, EI, or DCR.
- Directing work/Subcontractor's shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and contract.
- Maintaining an up-to-date drawing delivery schedule and ensuring all work is passed to the document controller for publishing.
- Materials submittals and methods of working.
- Providing information for site queries to the Coordinator and Manager.
- Collaborating with the Planning Department to update the working program.
- Handling the process of design abortive works claims due to IFC changes.
- Detailing & supporting the Value Engineering process.
- Ensuring as-built/redline process. Collecting information for as-built drawings, passing it to the modeler to complete the detailed drawing, then checking the details to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- 3 years’ experience in the Architect Snr or similar role.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD & Autodesk Revit for Design review.
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat & MS Office.
- Good written & spoken English.
- Experience with Revizto/ Naviswork.
Preferable:
- Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Experience of working in Shared Collaborative Environment (CDE).
- BIM principles & basic awareness.
