Position Overview: A hands-on internship opportunity for a motivated architecture student to gain experience in architectural design and project management within a management service.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Assistance:
Develop architectural and interior design concepts under the guidance of architects.
Create design drawings, sketches, and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Contribute to design reviews and brainstorming sessions with the design team.
Assist in the preparation of design presentations for client meetings.
Project Management Support:
Support project managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities and timelines.
Prepare and organize project documentation, including reports, schedules, and project proposals.
Track project progress and update project management tools and software.
Communicate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
Site Visits:
Conduct site visits to monitor and report on project progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
Take measurements, document site conditions, and provide feedback to the project team.
Assist in resolving site-related issues and discrepancies.
Consultancy Assistance:
Participate in client meetings and assist in preparing consultancy reports and recommendations.
Conduct research on industry trends, materials, and best practices to support consultancy services.
Analyze and present findings related to project feasibility, cost estimation, and design solutions.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support, including file organization, record maintenance, and correspondence management.
Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating project-related activities, and preparing agendas.
Design Coordination:
Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure design integration and alignment with project goals.
Review and provide feedback on design documents and shop drawings.
Material and Product Research:
Research and recommend materials and products suitable for specific project requirements.
Assist in evaluating samples and prototypes.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Architecture.
