ARCHITECT - DM ADM AUTHORITY SUBMISSION

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptual Design: Develop creative design concepts that align with client requirements, project objectives, and site constraints. Produce sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Design Development: Progress designs from concept stage to detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details. Incorporate feedback from clients, consultants, and stakeholders to refine designs.
• Technical Expertise: Apply comprehensive knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and building systems to develop functional, safe, and sustainable designs. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
• Project Management: Lead design teams and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts to deliver high-quality architectural solutions. Establish project goals, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress and address any design-related issues or challenges that may arise.
• Client Interaction: Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication, active listening, and responsiveness. Present design proposals, facilitate client meetings, and obtain approvals at various project stages.
• Documentation: Prepare and review comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness of documentation for construction purposes.
• Construction Administration: Provide support during the construction phase by responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and addressing design-related issues on-site. Collaborate with contractors and consultants to ensure quality and compliance with design intent.
• Continuing Education: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture and design. Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Years of professional experience in architectural design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and independently manage multiple projects.
• Architectural licensure preferred but not required.
• LEED accreditation or other sustainability certifications a plus.
