Architect

Job Summary:

A Site Architect is responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of construction projects onsite. This role involves ensuring that the design intent is realized during construction, coordinating with various stakeholders, and addressing any issues that arise during the building process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Oversee the construction site to ensure that the architectural design is implemented correctly and according to the plans.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any design or construction issues.
• Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise onsite, making adjustments to plans as necessary.
• Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports to clients and stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the plan and proposed solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of site activities, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
• Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the project.

Specific Skills Required:

• Site experience in estimation, installation, and all site activities related to architectural works for construction of a variety of building projects.
• Familiarity with all architectural engineering methodologies as well as the corresponding equipment, materials, consumables, and tools related to architectural works for building projects.
• Well-versed in interpreting and executing architectural-related drawings.
• Knowledge of the related authorities' requirements.
• Computer literate, proficient in programs such as AutoCAD, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and relevant discipline design software.
• Villa and commercial buildings experience required with a strong background in startup execution and handover of major projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of demonstrable experience in all aspects of supervision and project administration of the architectural works related to large-scale projects within the Middle East in the consulting industry.
