Arabic Teacher for Secondary Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Arabic Teacher to instruct nonnative speakers in Arabic as a Foreign Language. The successful candidate will have a strong command of the Arabic language and culture along with proven experience in teaching Arabic to students of various proficiency levels up to Grade 12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to various learning styles.
• Instructional Delivery: Utilize a range of teaching methods including interactive activities, multimedia resources, and technology integration to facilitate effective language learning.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
• Cultural Integration: Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of Arabic-speaking regions.
• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Certification: Teaching certification specific to Arabic as a Foreign Language is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience teaching Arabic to nonnative speakers with a track record of successful language instruction.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English; additional German language skills are advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using educational technology and digital platforms to enhance learning experiences.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
