Application Support Specialist - SharePoint Administration

We are looking for an Application Support Specialist who will be responsible for the stability of the SharePoint application and ongoing support for the same. This includes Service Delivery and SLA maintenance for Incidents and Service Requests (SRs).


Education:

B.Tech (Comp. Sc) / MCA Graduate / Equivalent IT-based degree, university degree, or work experience required.


Experience:

5+ years of experience at a relevant technical position in large organizations.


Skill Set Required (Must-Have):
  • Experience in Application production support within the ITIL Framework.
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in application troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Application performance tuning and optimization.
  • Resolution of tickets with quality and within SLA.
  • Proactive monitoring and incident analysis.
  • Experience in workflow maintenance and configuration.
  • Very good hands-on knowledge of SharePoint administration.
  • Good knowledge in web technologies such as C#.Net and JavaScript.
  • Good knowledge in other Content Management Systems such as SiteCore and WordPress.
  • Good understanding of MS Azure and Active Directory (AD).
  • Very good knowledge in Oracle/MS SQL - SQL & Stored Procedure.
  • Hands-on experience in PowerShell and Unix commands.

Skill Set Required (Good-to-Have):
  • Good knowledge of open-source applications/application components.
  • Good knowledge of application licensing.
