Application Engineer - Security Systems – UAE Nationals Only
As an Application and System Sales Engineer at Honeywell Security & Access Systems, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality solutions and exceptional support to the sales teams and our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher to kickstart their career in the field of security systems and products business. We are looking for candidates with the right aptitude and attitude to learn and grow in this role.
You will support the sales and business development teams as well as directly interact with customers by using your system expertise and knowledge to design, optimize and develop security systems designs as per customer requirements. In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of high-quality security system applications that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Work on new project enquiries and tenders by reading, understanding the customer needs and developing a solution that meets it within the project deadlines.
- Engage at early stages of the project, starting with proof of concepts, helping consultants draft the tender specifications and project designs where possible.
- Support sales teams and channel partners to respond to the tenders once they are released by developing and optimizing the bill of materials, compliance statements, and product submittals.
- Interact with customers, consultants, and other project stakeholders to get clarifications and drive discussions around the solution as required.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge about our systems as well as about the competition and key market trends.
- Provide reports on a weekly and monthly basis as required.
- Be a passionate self-starter and effectively work cross-functionally, particularly with Offering, Marketing, and sales account managers, to identify every possible sales opportunity. You will embody Honeywell’s Behaviors in your work and hold others accountable to the same.

Key skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline preferably with a specialization in electronics engineering.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
