Application Engineer (Quoting Metal Packaging)

Responsibilities:

1. Engage with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored metal packaging solutions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
2. Prepare detailed quotes based on technical specifications and customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
3. Collaborate with the sales team to support marketing initiatives and promote metal packaging capabilities.
4. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to suggest improvements in pricing strategies.
5. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of all quotes and project scope changes.
6. Work closely with production teams to communicate customer requirements and ensure timely delivery.
7. Provide technical expertise on metal packaging designs and assist in product development initiatives.
8. Assist in conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in application engineering or quoting in the packaging industry.
3. Strong understanding of metal packaging technologies and processes.
4. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate quote preparation.
5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with clients.
7. Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., CAD software, quoting systems).
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
9. Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
