We are seeking an Application Engineer specialising in Fire Detection to join our team in Dubai.

What you’ll do:

Technical coordination/control of customer inquiry, from the receipt of the inquiry by the customer.
For customer-specific requests, development of constructive solutions together with the relevant specialist departments (project planning, marketing, sales field service, finance).
Specialist advice on emergency lighting (technology, regulations) for customers and planners.
Creation of project-specific tender texts.
Creation of Fire systems planning as support for the sales department, including preparation of Life safety design drawings for projects using specialized software (AUTOCAD/BIM).
Creation of design documentation using specialized software (Bid manager).
Supporting the field sales team in developing Fire Detection solutions and providing technical advice to customers and planners.
Entering project data in the CRM sales information system.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering / Engineering Technology, or a related field.
More than 3 years of professional experience in Fire Detection / Life Safety equipment.

Skills:

Familiar with Life Safety codes and standards.
Strong electrical engineering background.
Familiar with electrical design tools and software.
Basic skills in AutoCAD.
Knowledge about competing products.
Knowledge about Fire Systems Standards & Local Codes.
Able to present the solution to consultants/clients.
Problem solving.
Collaborative behavior.
Fluent speaking and writing in English.
Good communicator and strong presentation skills.
Self-motivated and takes ownership of results.
