This ideal candidate will partner with the Sales Director and Account Executives to find, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients. Once they discover the client's needs in metal cutting, they will discuss our product's technological capabilities and business value with the client and help them to come up with a decision. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical metal cutting concepts to all prospective clients. The candidate would cover the UAE and MENA region, including business trips. Experience (+3 years) in the metal cutting industry is necessary!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and give technical presentations for customers on how the tools and equipment work
Conduct clients' analysis in terms of their technical demands, communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary
Control all the technical implementation processes and optimize them
Control tools marking and shipment in terms of tools quality together with quality control department
Organize engineering department work process
Conduct instrument trials of the tools produced by the company on customers' production sites (metallurgy, automotive, pipe rolling industry, railway industry, etc)
Search for new clients and partners in the accountable area, communicate with them
Collect information about the technical objectives from potential and existing customers and prepare a technical solution with the proper tools and cutting modes
Work with the customers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements, help clients to solve problems with tools usage
Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective
Prepare technical proposals and commercial offer preparation
Prepare and collect technical reports on trials

Minimum qualification:
Higher/middle technical education (priority: metal-cutting machines and tools, mechanical engineering technology, mechanical processing or engineering faculty at a specialized technical university/college)
Fluent English as a second language
3 years of reliable technical background (experience as an engineer at a manufacturing company with metal cutting sites, an engineer/sales manager at a manufacturing company, or a seller of metal cutting tools)
Good knowledge of the nomenclature of metal-cutting tools produced by the leaders of the international market (Sandvik, Iscar, SECO, TaeguTec, Pramet, Korloy, Kennametal etc.)
