Role Responsibilities:

1. Comply with Code of Ethics in respect to your Customers, Employees, Shareholders, competitors and carry out your duties and responsibilities as mentioned.
2. Responsible for meeting Application Engineering requirements covering Enquiry Quotation process, technical selections, compliance statements, technical submittals, reply to comments, preparing quotations in CRM & SAP, updating tasks in AE Actions file, enquiry handling follow-up, tracking and updating the system regularly, and other special/urgent actions from BU.
3. Read the enquiry in detail, understand, check the project details, schedules, and prepare proper technical selections by offering suitable solutions and helping customers choose Carrier products for their projects.
4. Ensure all inquiries received are responded to on time as per assigned KPI with the right type of equipment selection and quotation, ensuring the customer receives the quotation.
5. Follow up with customers for more information on JOB IN HAND (JIH) projects and update BU Manager for assigning Sales Engineer (SE).
6. Update knowledge with the latest catalogs, presentations, and software.
7. Analyse technical requirements of the projects, render technical guidance to the Sales Engineers, prepare technical selections meeting the schedules and project specifications, and create comparison tables using the latest product data catalogues, technical literature, bulletins, and software for customers on a daily basis.
8. Maintain constant communication with Sales Team discussing project requirements on assigned tasks and update the SAP/CRM actions in the database.
9. Ensure smooth information flow between Sales, Applications, and Consultant engineering teams on time.
10. Visit customer offices/sites for technical meetings along with Sales team to get the technical selections and submittals approved as required.
11. Provide technical comparisons & schedules for Consultants engineer when assigned.
12. Attend all assigned Ethics Trainings, Technical trainings, product trainings, design trainings as per schedule and enhance knowledge.
13. Monthly reporting for pending and completed number of tasks before closing ensuring the KPIs are met and exceeded.
14. Give immense importance to Consultant comments and ensure they are responded to promptly within the time frame to get project approvals.
15. Understand local regulations, international standards used in product design & certifications like EUROVENT, AHRI, LEED, DGBR, DEWA etc., for improving knowledge and offering products accordingly after discussing with the sales team.
16. Report Turnbacks and Escapes regularly.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for providing technical assistance to the Consultants/Customers and to support the Sales workforce in all computer-aided equipment selection and other technical functions as deemed necessary, in line with the company EH&S and ISO IMS Quality System processes and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or related HVAC field. Minimum 2 to 3 years experience with a full understanding of HVAC and CML applied products design concepts, understanding of Chiller, AHU & FCU Equipment technologies, and expert in time management. This role is only for Emiratis (UAE citizens).

Personal Traits and Behaviour:

1. Good experience working in the same field with a proven track record in UAE.
2. Good knowledge of HVAC basics, CML Applied products in particular.
3. In-depth understanding of consultant specifications and schedules for CML.
4. Heat load calculations matching selections for CML applied products.
5. Fluent in written and verbal communication skills.
6. Expertise in handling all above Application work.
7. Excellent computer skills, MS Office, MS Excel, Product software selection programs, handling Autocad files, creating spreadsheets, preparing quotations in SAP/CRM, and AC system design.
8. Ready to relocate within UAE based on business requirements.
9. Team player with good communication and inter-personal skills.
10. Good planning abilities, result-oriented, presentable with a good personality.
