Ensure anesthesia machines and equipment are well-maintained, sanitized, and ready for use.
Set up and check anesthesia equipment for potential issues or malfunctions before each procedure.
Prepare anesthetic agents as prescribed by the anesthesiologist.
Assist in the administration of anesthesia during surgeries by monitoring equipment and adjusting parameters as needed.
Monitor patients’ vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and respiratory function during the anesthesia process.
Report any deviations or abnormal readings to the anesthesiologist.
Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth perioperative care.
Communicate patient-specific information and assist in adjusting anesthesia settings if necessary.
Record the details of anesthesia used, patient reactions, and other relevant data during the procedure.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Anesthesia Technology or a related field (e.g., Medical Technology, Allied Health Sciences) from an accredited institution is typically required.
Candidates must have DHA Eligibility or MOH Evaluation Letter.
Candidates should have 4 to 6 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist or in a similar role within a hospital or healthcare setting.
Preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in the UAE.
Familiarity with UAE healthcare standards and practices is highly valued.
Experience in different clinical settings (e.g., operating rooms, ICU) is preferred.
