Job description

DESCRIPTION:
The Finance/Analytics Analyst will be responsible for acquiring in-depth knowledge of portfolios and systems in order to assist the investment, marketing, and client service teams with performance reporting, portfolio analysis, and other duties as outlined below. This position will be located in the Dubai office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Create models to analyze and forecast fund performance, cash flows, and fees.
  2. Measure composite and disaggregated performance and contrast with public and private benchmarks.
  3. Create custom track records and refresh them as needed.
  4. Assist marketing and client service teams with quantitative aspects of marketing materials and investor requests.
  5. Coordinate portfolio company data collection and assist in system design, testing, and implementation.
  6. Cash management and coordination of investor capital calls and distributions.
  7. Assist with various compliance reporting.
  8. Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout internal systems.
  9. Conduct ad hoc analysis using internal and external databases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  2. 1-4 years in financial analysis and/or fund accounting. Private Equity experience is a plus.
  3. Experience with spreadsheet modelling and accounting software preferred.
  4. Excellent quantitative, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with internal and external clients.
  5. Highly detail oriented with a strong ability to manage and execute simultaneous projects and tasks without reminders.
  6. Exceptionally self-motivated, with a high level of initiative and the resourcefulness to efficiently and effectively problem solve.
  7. Strong knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
