Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform chemical and physical analyses on samples using a variety of analytical techniques and instrumentation.
2. Develop and validate analytical methods for the analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
3. Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
4. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments, troubleshooting issues as needed.
5. Prepare and standardize chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for analysis.
6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) during all laboratory activities.
7. Document and record test results, observations, and other relevant data in laboratory notebooks or computer systems.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, scientists, and quality control personnel, to provide accurate and timely analytical data.
9. Investigate and troubleshoot any deviations, abnormalities, or non-conformities in test results or instrument performance.
10. Assist in the maintenance of laboratory inventory, including reagents and supplies, and order new materials as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field. Previous experience working as an Analytical Chemist in the science and pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and laboratory safety procedures. Proficiency in using analytical software and data analysis tools. Attention to detail and accuracy in performing analytical tests and recording data. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot instrument and method-related issues. Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with colleagues. Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced laboratory environment.
