To enable the assessment and credit decisions relating to unsecured credit facilities such as credit cards and personal loans.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Retail Credit Appraisals
Ensure high and accurate prescreening of cards/loans applications and analyze credit proposals within the policy guidelines and acceptable timeframe as per agreed SLA.
Ensure discrepancies/fraudulent applications are escalated to the line manager and internal fraud control unit.
Conduct telephonic and/or field verification to check the authenticity of information and documentation provided by the applicant.
Prepare detailed notes for recommendation and escalate to the next level for accurate decision-making.
Coordinate with internal customers, business units, CAD, and collections to ensure adherence to guidelines and that all requests are attended to in a prompt and professional manner within the agreed timelines.
Policies & Procedures
Ensure the preparation, maintenance, and recording of all documents and data relating to loans and credit facilities in the pre and post-approval stages in a systematic manner, adhering to requisite legal formalities and internal policies.
Self Management Responsibilities
Define performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensure that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
Identify training and development requirements for self and agree on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
Strive to achieve the highest levels of proficiency in all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
Keep abreast of professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through related training.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Banking, or any related discipline.
