Aluminum Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aluminum Fabricator to join our dynamic team. As an Aluminum Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw aluminum into high-quality products that meet specific needs and specifications. This position requires a keen understanding of aluminum characteristics, various fabrication techniques, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Your primary responsibility will be to fabricate aluminum components using a range of tools and equipment, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are completed efficiently. In our fast-paced work environment, you will also be involved in performing routine maintenance on machinery, collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot issues, and ensuring that our production schedules are met. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
• Set up and operate various fabrication machines and tools such as saws, presses, and welding equipment.
• Measure and cut aluminum materials to precise sizes using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Assemble fabricated parts according to specifications and ensure proper alignment and fit.
• Perform quality checks on final products to ensure they adhere to industry standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and troubleshoot any design or production issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aluminum fabrication is a plus.
• Proven experience as an aluminum fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of aluminum properties and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with various welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
