Aircraft Technician (CAT A) – Etihad Airways

As we grow our Fleet and Destinations, we are looking for qualified Aircraft Maintenance professionals to join our Etihad Technical Team. It is not just an opportunity to work on a diverse and sophisticated Aircrafts but also be part of the most agile and progressive environment.
In this role, you are required to certify and perform aircraft maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects.
Accountabilities
- Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
- Ensure maximum attention is given to on-time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand
- Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft
- Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work
- Develop oneself and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development
- Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
- Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters
- Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the company’s ethics
- Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached
- Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective
Education & Experience
- Must have served an apprenticeship with an airline/ approved organization, or have received an equivalent formal training
- CAT A Technician – Minimum 5+ years of experience plus Valid aircraft maintenance license required (ICAO license preferably with one Aircraft Type acceptable for conversion as GCAA CAR-66. or Minimum Basic EASA66 B1 or GCAA CAT A).
- Good communication skills and fluent in English
- Should be a team player
- Able to perform tasks with high level of Quality and safety.
