Air Conditioning Technician - Installation, Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

1. Respond to assigned service calls and complete tasks efficiently while ensuring accurate logging in the ticketing system.
2. Assess air conditioning issues by interviewing customers and diagnosing problems.
3. Install air conditioning units in homes and commercial buildings following industry-standard protocols.
4. Test newly installed systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
5. Repair malfunctioning air conditioning units by troubleshooting and performing necessary fixes.
6. Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning A/C grills, filters, and components.
7. Educate customers on proper maintenance practices for prolonging the lifespan of their A/C systems.
8. Replace air conditioning units that are beyond repair and provide recommendations for suitable alternatives.
9. Provide customers with operational guidance to maximize efficiency and performance of A/C systems.
10. Complete administrative duties and reports as required by the Line Manager or Head of Department.

Required Skills and Experience

1. High school diploma or vocational certification in HVAC or a related field.
2. 2-4 years of experience in air conditioning, cooling, and heating system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
3. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
4. Ability to assess and solve A/C-related problems effectively.
5. Good communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
