The Air Conditioning & Freezing Technician plays a crucial role in the construction and building industry, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and freezing systems. Key Responsibilities:

1. HVAC System Installation: Install air conditioning and freezing systems, including HVAC units, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and control panels. Ensure proper positioning, alignment, and connection of system components.
2. System Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, inspecting components, and lubricating moving parts, to ensure the efficient operation of HVAC systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
3. Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations. Charge and recover refrigerants as required and conduct leak testing to ensure system integrity.
4. Temperature Control: Set and adjust temperature controls, thermostats, and humidity levels to maintain desired environmental conditions. Calibrate and test system controls to ensure accuracy and proper functionality.
5. Ductwork Installation and Repair: Install, repair, and maintain ductwork systems for air distribution. Ensure proper insulation, sealing, and airflow to optimize system performance.
