Job description

We are looking for a skilled Agricultural Engineer to design, develop, and improve farming techniques, equipment, and sustainability practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in agricultural machinery, irrigation systems, soil management, and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop efficient agricultural equipment and farming systems.
Improve irrigation, drainage, and water conservation systems for better crop yield.
Conduct soil and water testing to determine land suitability for farming.
Implement automation and technology in agricultural practices.
Provide technical support and consultation to farmers and agribusinesses.
Analyze and improve crop production, storage, and processing techniques.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
Research and develop eco-friendly farming solutions.
Collaborate with scientists, agronomists, and policymakers to enhance agricultural productivity.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
2+ years of experience in agricultural engineering, farm management, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of soil science, irrigation systems, and farm machinery.
Proficiency in CAD software, GIS mapping, and precision agriculture tools.
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
Ability to work on-site and in-field environments.
