Position: Junior Instructor (Shooting) - Female

Job Location: Abu Dhabi

Conditions of Work:

To assist and accompany all guests, to ensure safe operation of all shooting activities, to efficiently operate all ranges.

Role Overview:

While main duties are predominately carried out in the Shooting facility, work may be required in other areas of the property. The work environment of a Junior Instructor is mainly outdoors and can be very noisy and sometimes hazardous in extreme circumstances.

Main Duties:

• To accompany and assist all guests undertaking Shooting activities to ensure that all range safety rules are adhered to and that all guests conduct themselves in a safe and proper manner at all times whilst on the range.
• To provide assistance in the operation of all target release systems and to act as a squad referee and scorer for all clay target disciplines.
• To act as an assistant to Pistol / Rifle / Clay Target Instructors for the 25 meter and 50 meter Indoor pistol range, 300 meter enclosed Rifle Range, Skeet / Trap and the Sporting Ranges to offer assistance to all shooters in the operation of all computerized target control systems and ensure that all Range procedures are adhered to.
• To undertake all range duties which will include the daily opening and closing, the checking of all shooting range equipment, to ensure all such equipment is safe to operate, is fully cleaned and in a good state of repair, to open and close any such range in accordance with the required Standard operating procedures.
• To maintain a clean and safe condition for all shooting ranges including the collection of spent cartridge cases and to ensure appropriate disposal.
• To assist in maintaining appropriate stocks for all range consumables including clay targets.
• To provide such assistance as necessary to all Senior range staff including that of the Senior Trap Maintenance Ranger in the servicing or repair of all machines and equipment.
• To assist when necessary in the operation of the Shooting Reception counter, Admin area and the Armory cleaning facility.
• To operate and drive caddy buggies to transport guests to and fro from Ranges, maintain and clean the buggies.
• To undertake ongoing training provided by the Shooting Manager and Coaching staff in the safe handling and operation of all firearms and relevant ammunitions.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or High School or any related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the UAE in a similar role is preferred.
• Previous experience with Pistol / Rifle / Clay Target Instructors.
• Prioritize safety of the guests, ensuring that the equipment is safe following the company’s guidelines.
• Flexible, hardworking, with excellent customer service and ability to understand full instructions given by the line manager.
• Applicable coordination skills to supervise the activities to ensure delivery of optimum services.
• Driven and self-motivated.
• Teamwork and the ability to foster good working relationships.
• Female candidates preferred.

Salary: 2,250 AED/monthly + Sharing Accommodation (live-out not allowed) + additional 250 AED upon completing 6 months Pro-B period + 3 X Meals/day + Free Transportation inside the company premises + Uniform + Every 2 Years roundtrip ticket cash to home country + company will provide visa & medical insurance.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Shooting Instructor: 2 years (Required)
• Police/Military/Army in home country: 2 years (Required)
